This is a step by step detailed article for Installing Oracle E-business suite R12.2 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.7 (64-bit). I have used oracle virtual box for Installing Linux.
This Installation is demonstrated on virtual machine with 6GB RAM and CPU (2 core) and Installation completed in 7 hours. I am not sure whether this Installation will work with less than this.
Follow my previous article for create Oracle VirtualBox and installation of Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.7 (64 bit).
Note: As per documentation should use minimum 8GB RAM, 2 core CPU and 180 GB (for fresh prod DB)/300 GB (vision DB) diskspace.
After installed the OEL 5.7, follow below steps.
Prepare staging area:
a) Download all required EBS R12.2 software
b) Unzip start CD for getting buildStage.sh
c) Execute bulildStage.sh script for creating Stage

Run rapidwiz from the staging directory:

Verify installation:
login to Oracle EBS and check application process. And also perform basic sanity check.
